To the Association of West Australian Community Resource Centres Incorporated (AWACRC Inc) web site.The Community Resource Centre Network (previously the Telecentre Network), is one of Western Australia’s longest running and most successful regional community service programs.
The need for a representative and supportive body for all West Australian Community Resource Centres has long been obvious. Recently, with the support of the WA Government, a working group met to begin working on the development of this new organisation.
The initial meeting of the Community Resource Network Working Group was held on March 23rd and 24th 2010. This meeting was attended by an excellent cross-section of representation of CRCs from across the state.
At the State CRC Conference held in Fremantle September 2010, the initial Managing Committee/Board was elected.
In accordance with the constitution, at the AGM held in September 2011, a new Board was elected to govern the group.
